YouTube Downloader is software that allows you to download videos from Facebook, Youtube, Google Video, Yahoo Video, and many others and convert them to other video formats.

YouTube Downloader asks during the install if you wish to install its toolbar, you are able to choose not to during the install, it also asks if you wish to run an online scan of your computer from MacAfee this once again can be unchecked.
Once installed you see the following window.



You can choose either to download a video or to convert a video that you have already downloaded. If you choose to download you need to enter the URL of your video then choose the quality, if you are downloading from You Tube you can choose from HD 1080p to normal. Then choose where you wish to download the video to.
Click on Download.
If you wish to convert your video check the entry Convert or play a video you have already downloaded.



Navigate to the folder where you saved your video and choose it, choose the format you wish to convert to, the following are supported.







Click on either Convert or play, if you choose play then a player will open and playback the video, if you choose convert a window will open where you can choose the quality of your conversion.






Once you select Ok, the video will be converted, dependent on the format chosen you may have to use another player to playback your converted video.
